Located in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana, this area of the island had an exceptional wealth of water, fertile fields that were absolutely generous with their caretakers, and abundant hunting. In addition, the proximity of the mountains made it possible to maintain defensive redoubts on its peaks, thus guaranteeing the tranquility of the families who lived there.
